A person was lynched in Jharkhand’s Simdega by a mob on Tuesday for allegedly hurting spiritual sentiments by slicing a tree.

The incident happened in Kolebira Police Station space on Tuesday afternoon. The sufferer has been recognized as Sanju Pradhan.

In accordance with police, round 100 to 150 individuals lynched the sufferer to demise as he had harm the spiritual sentiments by slicing and promoting elements of a specific tree.

“This tree has spiritual significance for the Munda group and they’re very sentimental about it. The deceased had reduce these timber in October 2021. This had harm the feelings. The household of the sufferer instructed police that the mob first beat him with sticks and bricks. They put him on hearth after he died.
